Hello VCM,

Not getting enough players this week marks your fourth forfeit of the season, and as per the rules you've been dropped to the bottom of the ladder (doesn't actually make a practical difference as you were 5th anyway, but there you go).

More to the point it's not fair on other teams for you not to field a team so regularly. It's a waste of their time turning up when they won't get to play, not to mention a waste of time for the few VCM members who do show. And of course it's disappointing to be deprived of a scrim you were looking forward to.

Point being that you can't go on forfeiting most of your games like this. I don't want to sound mean because I genuinely enjoy playing with you guys, but it's not fair on the other teams or the competition as a whole.

Could you please give me some indication whether you will make a concerted effort to get organised for scrims, or if you aren't able to realistically compete at the present time?

Don't worry we'll get out of everyone's way. I thought this was all just supposed to be for fun anyway? We've tried but we just can't seem to find the numbers at the moment to play every week so we might as well depart from the koth.

Yes it's for fun, but asking people to turn up at a specific time and then just leaving them hanging isn't really fair.

No hard feelings man, it is supposed to be for fun and I've enjoyed all the games I have played against you guys.

But it's also a competition so it's not fair to leave the other teams hanging week after week, especially when some people may have forgone other commitments to play.

You are of course welcome to join KOTH at any time in the future (it's easy to slot a new team in) if you find yourself with enough members to turn up for scrims.

Waiting up until 11.30pm(NZ) last Sunday for our scheduled match with you guys only to be left hanging kinda takes the fun out of the game. Aside from that I hope you can get it together as having more clans around will help keep the competition alive. There are loads of players around who are keen to get into the KOTH or just a scrim for that matter but aren't sure how or are afraid to ask. If this community is to grow then I think we should be doing more to help players to sign up. Now everyone hold hands and join me in singing Kumbaya...
